Construction Project manager
Port Charlotte and Orlando, Florida, 2003-2005
Managed extensive remodel projects of two homes in Port Charlotte Florida area, and a ground commercial property in the city of Orlando. Responsibilities and duties included developing plans, scopes, and procuring supplies, oversee sub contractors, deal with inspections, record and budget controls, correspond with investors daily, over sight of temp. Workers. During period the area was devastated by several Hurricanes. I worked through and with The State of Florida, and FEMA to obtain supplies, permits and new building codes and restrictions. Daily challenges included working with few resources, unreliable utilities, and locating limited supplies while meeting investor´s expectations.
Facilities Operations Manager
The Look Out Inc., Maple Grove, MN, 2001-2003
Help oversee the facilities fast growth of expansion and construction, and also constructed a 3200 sq ft expansion to the restaurant (offices, pantry, dry food store room and locker rooms areas). All of this required State, Local, and Health Department compliance, permits, and inspections.
